245 type tips are similar to T12 series tips, being a combination of a resistance wire placed in a ceramic casing, a temperature sensor and a high-quality soldering tip. The difference lies in the maximum power - 245 tips have a heating element that is almost three times more powerful, which ensures significantly faster heating and temperature stabilization, provided that the power supply and electronics are appropriately selected.
