KNIPEX cable cutter for high-strength cables 160 mm

Smooth and burr-free cutting of wire ropes

A tool for demanding tasks in crafts, repairs, trade fair construction and more.

The Knipex wire rope cutter is ideal for: shortening bicycle brake cables, restoring a classic car's broken clutch cable (if the original part is unavailable), manufacturing trailer parking brake cables from metric cable. This cutter is the right tool for these and many other situations. A cutting capacity of up to Ø 6 mm for multi-strand copper cable and up to Ø 4 mm for wire rope makes it suitable for both on-site use and workshop tasks.

Comfort and Safety: Opening Spring and Locking Mechanism

The durable opening spring ensures comfortable working: it saves one manual movement with each cut. When hand force is released, the spring automatically opens the pliers. Those who work frequently with wire ropes will quickly appreciate this feature. For transport, the cutter is protected from accidental opening by a special locking system.
