KNIPEX offers protective jaws for the updated 250 mm pliers wrench (model from 2018 onwards). They can be easily attached to the gripping jaws and lock securely in place. The pliers wrench now grips even more gently and is ideal for design fittings and other sensitive materials thanks to its soft, smooth gripping surfaces.

Long service life for a valuable tool

Even without protective jaws, pliers wrenches can be used directly on chrome surfaces. They are also suitable for holding, bending and pressing hard materials. But what if the pliers wrench jaws are damaged through improper or forceful use? With replaceable protective jaws, you can continue working directly on chrome surfaces without scratching them!

Quick replacement

The protective jaws are made of relatively soft plastic. Nevertheless, they can withstand hundreds of firm grips. Naturally, the protective jaws will eventually wear out, depending on use and load. They can then be removed by hand and replaced with a new set. That is why the protective jaw set includes three pairs – so you can get straight back to work!
