The crimping profile and crimping pressure must be precisely matched to the end sleeve (ferrule) to be crimped and the corresponding wire to create a mechanically and electrically safe and secure connection. Built-in lock for precise and repeated crimping

Knipex PreciForce allows the user to work freely, because the pliers adjust the necessary manual force themselves. The crimping pressure of Knipex 97 52 38 pliers is ideally calibrated at the factory for end sleeves (ferrules) with a volume of 0.25 to 6.0 mm⊃2;. The built-in lock blocks the premature opening of the pliers before the set upper limit is reached by hand pressure. The pliers only open when the optimal crimping pressure has been reached, allowing the user to fully concentrate on crimping. If necessary, the lock can be released manually and the pressure adjusted.
