Japanese Water Stone Tormek SJ-250

Tormek's Japanese water stone with a grit of 4000 creates a mirror-smooth result and very few visible traces of sharpening.
As the stone is designed to create the best surface, it has a limited steel removal capacity and is not suitable for shaping tools.
Ideal for tools where a minimal amount of steel needs to be removed and the highest surface finish is expected.
The unique composition of this stone gives the stone a very long life.
Because the end result of grinding with this stone is so good, we recommend honing on a leather wheel after sharpening.
The surface of the stone should be cleaned about every minute with the finer side of SP-650. NB: do not use the coarser side of SP-650 on this wheel.

Suitable for Tormek T-8, T-7 and older models with a stone size of 250 mm.
