The CONTURO is also suitable for stationary work. For this, it is simply attached to the multifunctional table MFT/3 Conturo-AP.
This allows not only edging straight edges or curves, but also bevel edges at a 90°–45° angle, as the CONTURO in the stationary device can be rotated 90°–45°.

CONTURO as a stationary tool
To work stationary with the CONTURO, it is simply inserted into the multifunctional table MFT/3 or a self-built table with an adapter plate. This allows edging not only straight edges or curves, but also bevel edges at a 90°–45° angle, as the CONTURO in the stationary device can be rotated 90°–45°.

Edging of straight parts or molded parts
The stationary working method with straight edges is particularly practical for narrow or small workpieces that are difficult to clamp. The edge is inserted as usual; the workpiece is then guided with even pressure along the pressure roller.

Edging of bevels
For bevel edges, the CONTURO is simply turned in the stationary device to the desired angle (45°–90° is possible). The guide fence ensures that the edge is glued straight and not crooked; it can be adjusted to an edge thickness of 0.5–3 mm. The workpiece is then simply guided through the CONTURO and the edge is glued on.

Easy conversion of MFT 3
Any standard MFT 3 multifunctional table can be easily converted for stationary use of the edge banding device. The standard MFT 3 perforated plate is simply replaced with the special perforated plate LP-KA65 MFT/3 – included are the M4 sleeves needed for screwing the sliding plates. The adapter plate AP-KA 65 is also needed – 15 sliding plates are included.
