Main applications:
Ideal for mobile use in assembly work
Cutting of tables and panels up to a length of 305 x 60 mm
Cutting of moldings, profiles, beams with a thickness of 60 mm
Installation of baseboards and cover strips with precise angles without calculations - with a miter angle
The new cordless KAPEX KSC 60 makes ultra-precise cutting cuts, offering a huge amount of usage possibilities with a double-sided bevel angle up to 60 degrees and a double-sided tilt angle up to 46 or 47 degrees. At the same time, the double-mounted double-column guide guides the saw blade precisely and smoothly: so every cut succeeds perfectly, without any wobble or breakage.
The brushless EC-TEC motor together with the dual battery system allows it to be used almost endlessly - this is enough for all typical jobs throughout the working day. In addition, smart details, such as speed preselection, saw blades suitable for each job, miter angle, ergonomic base frame and dust collection bag, take care of ergonomic, health-preserving and ultra-professional work.
Unlimitedly mobile
With ergonomically placed carrying handles and a practical transport protection. In addition, it is extremely compact in shape, as the guide rails are located forward, and the weight is also light.
Ultimate precision
With double ball bearings: Festool's double-column guide helps to guide the saw blade safely and without problems and ensures the ultimate precision - without any wobble and jumping.
Greatest power, almost endless durability
There is no difference - together with the brushless EC-TEC motor and the dual battery system (2 x 18 V), the KSC 60 is impressively powerful like a mains-powered saw, and all this with full mobility.
Maximum area of use
Thanks to the double-sided tilt angle of up to 60 degrees. The angle is determined by the fastening / click mechanism on the scale, and fastening points can be used for quick selection of preset tilt angles. All other angles are freely selectable and adjustable.
Extremely versatile
Thanks to the angle of up to 47 or 46 degrees on both sides. The angle can be adjusted with the help of an easily accessible and easy-to-handle fastener, which has an ultra-precise angle scale.
Also for processing large workpieces
The individually extendable table extension ensures safe and precise support even for long workpieces.
Optimal view of the cutting line
The LED directs the shadow of the saw blade with sharp outlines to the material as an indication of the precise cutting line.
Even more versatile thanks to the groove function
With the depth limiter, grooves can also be created quickly and accurately.
Saves time. Saves mistakes
The angle meter SM-KS makes it easy and accurate to quickly measure internal and external angles and then transfer them to the saw.
Healthier
Less dust when working, and even without a mobile vacuum cleaner - the installed dust collection bag catches the dust as soon as it is created.
Additional work surface
Additional legs raise the KSC 60 work table exactly to the height of the Systainer SYS 3 M 112 or SYSTAINER SYS 1. This way, they can be used as a work table to safely support long workpieces.
For left- and right-handers
The switch and handle are placed in the middle - so they can be easily used with both the right and left hands.
Quick change
The saw blade is changed quickly and safely with the spindle lock. The Allen key required for this is kept neatly in the key holder and is always at hand.
Work is always material-based
Variable speed preselection for material-based work.
Working in the tightest places
Thanks to its compactness and the absence of rearward protruding guide rods, the KSC 60 requires little space.
Antistatic function
Mobile vacuum cleaners and machines with an antistatic function against the formation of static charge during operation.
MMC Electronic Digital
Processor-controlled power electronics "Multi Material Control" with adjustable, constant speed and temperature monitoring for material-appropriate processing.
CLEANTEC
Integrated bayonet joint as a connecting element between the vacuum cleaner and the tool.
Spotlight
LED light for easy and precise positioning on the marking.
Quick brake
For safe work when planing, sawing and milling.
EC-TEC motor
The EC-TEC drive concept stands for unusual performance with the lowest possible energy consumption.
