The powerful 3.0 Ah 18 V Bluetooth® Ergo battery ensures equivalent power to mains operation. And this is the main reason for the extremely compact design with balanced weight distribution and perfect ergonomics at a weight of only 1.4 kg.
Automatic dust extraction combined with the Longlife dust catcher bag allows flexible handling of the tool – it doesn't tire you out even when working overhead, vertically or in hard-to-reach places. The Bluetooth® battery ensures that work proceeds smoothly in combination with a Bluetooth®-enabled Festool mobile dust extractor, and that the dust extractor automatically starts in AUTO mode when the battery sander is switched on.
The Festool light module adds an important detail to your compact sander: perfect visibility.
For unlimited working time, the battery can also be replaced by the plug it mains adapter – ideal for on-site tasks, also in combination with a Festool mobile dust extractor.

Unique: with battery or power cable
For any work that requires longer duration, the 18 V Bluetooth® Ergo battery can also be replaced by the plug it mains adapter (included in the scope of delivery, but also available as an accessory). In combination with the plug it cable, the device becomes a mains-powered machine with unlimited working time – a great solution together with a Festool dust extractor.
