Bosch PRO GLM80-35C is a laser distance meter for measuring lengths and heights, determining areas, and taking indirect measurements in hard-to-reach places. The device is suitable, for example, for measuring floor and wall surfaces.
Measurement results can be transferred to the Bosch MeasureOn app via Bluetooth. The device memory can store up to 50 measurement results. IP65 protection helps keep out dust and splashes.
The measuring range is up to 80 m in favourable conditions and 0,05–30 m in unfavourable conditions. Accuracy depends on the conditions: ±1,5 mm in favourable conditions and ±3,0 mm in unfavourable conditions; distance-dependent deviation must also be taken into account, at ±0,05 mm/m or ±0,15 mm/m, respectively. Tilt measurement accuracy is ±0,2°.
The device is compatible with the BA 3,7 V 1,0 Ah lithium-ion battery, available as an accessory. Its charging port is USB Type-C.
Bluetooth Low Energy connection performance depends on the device and operating system. The connected device must support the GATT profile.
The operating temperature is –10 °C to +45 °C. After a change in temperature, allow the device to adjust to the ambient temperature before use.
Regularly check the accuracy of distance and tilt measurements. After a strong impact or a fall, check the accuracy before continuing work.
Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the receiver lens as carefully as you would eyeglasses or a camera lens; do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
